Monday's Report.......

AAAAAAAAAArrrrreeeeeaaaaaa!!!!!!!, its another wonderful Monday morning and as usual the area show kicked off with some good music at 6.00am, at 6.30am area mama signed in for the traffic report show asking listeners to give their traffic and weather report,she also asked them to give the highlights of what their weekend was like,and a lot of people called, sent text messages, and some posted their comment on facebook, giving the traffic, weather and weekend reports,at 9:36, the song of the week was played which by popular demand turned out to be the one and only HAKYM's DEY DERE RMX, but the most interesting thing later on top of the morning is the top question, where tosyn bucknor asked people the kind of temper they have,well, we had different opinions about temper from the various callers as well as texters, even facebook comments ranging from bovi to Kingsley,salusimi,Joseph smith amongst others,some said that they have slow temper,and to some, they only get angry once in a year,and some don't even get angry at all.
later on the show, tosyn talked about four different aspects of temper, which were; quick to anger, slow to anger, quick to release, and slow to release temper.she pointed out that the ideal out of these four is slow to anger and quick to release it,she further explained that everyone cant escape temper,but we should not allow ourselves to be controlled by whatever type of temper we have, in other words, we should be SLOW TO ANGER and QUICK TO EASE IT.

One Friday

Areaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!The Area Show began at 6.00am with great music,both old and new songs was played and then by 6.30am,Area Mama asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather report from their respective Areas and then they should tell her,one thing they would like to "Thank the Lord" for.
There were a lot of listeners who gave their reports and then told Area Mama things they were thankful for plus you know what, today was "Edoyak's",one of the Listeners of the show,birthday and Area Mama sent him Birthday wishes.
Ogunremu Ayodeji sent his comment on Area Mama's Fan Page,he said Areaaaa..morning Area Mama..From Ikeja to Maryland is "catch me if you can" and the Weather is Area Mama je ka se unda G" he also wished "Edoyak" a happy Birthday.
Oladimeji also sent his comment and he said "Areaaaa,am still on my bed and i just wannt to thank GOD for my life and my friends all over the world and he also said his Area was cool and outgoing.There were a couple of Edoyak's Friends who sent him Birthday wishes.
Music and Commercials was played and then by 8.00am,Area Mama signed out and then Tosyn Bucknor signed in.Two songs from one Artiste was played and the featured Artiste today was Kanye West "Through the wire" and "Power" and More music was played for Listeners. Tosyn later announced that to nominate songs for the song of the week,they should send their preferred songs via text messages.commercials was played afterwards.
At 9.15am,Supermyd signed in for The Top Nine Moments and gave happenings around the World,alongside Tosyn Bucknor who gave some comments on some of the Moments and also the Stock Market and Weather reports.Supermyd signed out with a quote and then a tip and this was her tip for the day: Supermyd's tip for the day:A smile can go a long way.When you are walking down the street, driving,or just at the store, don't hesitate to give a stranger,a simple smile or say hello.Because it can turn a bad day around to be a good one.(What do you think,Guys?)
Later on,Tosyn Bucknor opened the phone lines and then screamed "Let the votes begin,there were a lot of votes and guess what song is the song of the week...It was "Holla at your Boy" by Wizkid,who eventually was beaten by two votes last week by D'Banj's "Scape Goat" which was played the last time.(A lesson to learn there).

Thursday reports

Areaaaaaaaaa!!! It was another Thursday and The Traffic Report Show started at 6.00am with as usual,good!!!music,then at 6.30am Area Mama asked Listeners to give the Traffic and Weather report from their Areaaaaa,plus she asked listeners to greet their fellow Nigerians in their Language.
Kingsley called in,on the show,he gave his reports and then greeted in igbo Language which is (Ibo lashi).Mufasa,one of Area Mama's interesting callers from Ogba,called in,gave his reports and greeted in three language,they were "Ekaro"(Yoruba Language),"Na kwa na"(Hausa Language) and in a kind of Chinese Language(chi cen).(hmmm)
There were other calls,text messages,tweet mentions and facebook comments that came in with Listeners who greeted in different Languages.It was interesting and then by 8.00am,Area Mama signed out.
Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was YQ "Miss you(Dagrin tribute)" and "Fimisile" featuring Dagrin.
Later on,it was time for the Proverbs Lane.There were some comments from the Area Mama's fan page ,a comment came from Bukola okeowo said "Ori okere wo koko lawo,baa wi fomo eni agbo" and she said the proverb is used 2 scold an erring child.
Olawale called in and also gave her proverb,she said "Omo to sope iya re o ni su,omo naa ko ni su" and according to him it means "A child that says his mother will not rest,that child too wont rest.There were also comments from Listeners who gave their proverbs.
At 9.15am,Supermyd signed in and gave happenings around the World,then Tosyn Bucknor gave the stock market and the Weather report.Then Supermyd signed out with a quote and a gave a tip for the day,she said "If you have some forgotten dirty Pots and Pans,that you can't get cleaned,Boiling some cola drink in it ,will clean the burnt pieces away"!!!
At 9.45am,the Radio Drama was played and this week's episode was "The fastest Killer" and it was Directed by Wyse,Produced by Marqai and written by Ngozi Anyawike.
Later on, the song of the week was played and it was D'Banj with "Scape Goat".Then by 10.00am,it was time for "SING YOUR STORY" and in this segment,you know the deal,you get to tell and sing your story.
Shade from Ikorodu called in,on the show and told Tosyn she was ill and she sang "I need an Angel" by Ruben Studdard.
Noble.C.Chiwendu from Facebook said his story is about south eastern universities strike action since May,and that he is telling them he has got Places to Go....plus he sang "Dreams" by CON.tra.diction.
There were other listeners who told and sang their stories,some had great voices,others did *cough*...ok.(That was what i thought).Then by 11.00am,Tosyn Bucknor thank Listeners as usual and signed out.

The Mystery Guest

Areaaaaaaaaaaa the Traffic report show started at 6.00am with great music and then Area Mama played,one of the Area song by 6.30am and then she asked listeners to give their Traffic and weather reports and request for any song they love to listen to.
Debbie from ikorodu called in on the show and gave her report and requested for "Superstar"by CON.tra.diction,Tosin from the Area Mama's fan page gave her reports and then requested for "Dey Dere remix"by Hakym The Dream. There were also other calls,text messages,tweet mentions and facebook comments with listeners who gave their reports and requested for different songs.
The songs that were requested was played amongst other songs and by 8.00am Area Mama signed out.Then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and the featured Artiste was 50cent"Talk is cheap" and "Baby by me" featuring Ne-yo.Good and latest jams was played.
By 9.15am,it was the Top Nine Moments,Supermyd signed in on the show and she gave happenings in the Country and around the World.Tosyn Bucknor gave the stock market and weather reports and then Supermyd signed out with a quote and a health tip.
music and commercial was played and then by 10.00am,it was time for Tosyn to chat with her mystery guest...Do you know who she chatted with it was the LISTENERS and Tosyn did her fifteen minutes of fame.(been a while oooo)
There were a lot of calls,text messages,tweet mentions,facebook comments and comments from the Area Mama's fan page and listeners told Tosyn Bucknor about their selves,Fola from yaba told Tosyn that she is a cool,jovial and that she hates pretenders."Scape Goat" by D'Banj which is the song of the week was played.
Then Tobi sent his comments from Facebook and he said he is a cool, unpredictable, friendly, weird and a funny dude,he also said he was a realist who loves top radio.There were others who also told Tosyn,interesting things about themselves.Tosyn signed out with "Be my Man" by Asa at 11.00am.

Areaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!It was another beautiful Tuesday at the studio of TopRadio 90.9 and the Traffic Report show started with great music at 6.00am and by 6.30am Area Mama asked Listeners as usual to send in their Traffic and Weather reports and how their day was going.
There were a lot of calls,text messages,tweet mentions,facebook comments and comments from The Area Mama's Fan page.Olawale sent in a text message and told Area Mama that his Area was cool and friendly and that he was getting ready to say his prayers and as usual the v.i pikins clapped for him
SlimBaba also gave his reports and then told Area Mama that he hoped to visit his friends today for the "ileya"'s Meat,the v.i pikins also clapped for him.
Good and great music was played,so around 8.00am Area Mama signed out and then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was time for the proverbs Lane,there were a lot of Proverbs sent via calls,text messages,tweet mentions and facebook comments,Lanre from ijoko gave his Poem and it was inspiring,Funke sent in her poem through facebook and it was so very interesting,even Tosyn advised her to update it on her facebook wall for her friends to read.
There were couple of other Poems,some were composed poems,while others were from different Authors.

There were a lot of Calls,Text Messages,Facebook comments,Tweet mentions and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page and Kingsley from Sango gave his reports and then told Area Mama that he visited an old friend of so many years,Tope from Ikorodu said he attended his uncle's wedding and he also gave his reports.
Area Mama also gave some happenings over the Weekend and she talked about CON.tra.diction's performance at Rooftop Mc's Concert and some other interesting gists.
At 8.00am Area Mama signed out and the Breakfast show began as Tosyn Bucknor signed in and Two songs from one Artiste was played and it was R.kelly's "Can't sleep" and "When i fall down".Great,nice and hot new songs from Christine's "Ungraceful" featuring KingDavid to "Cheers(Drink to that)by Rihanna and some other interesting tunes.
Tosyn Bucknor gave some information about how people get paid for their Pee.She said that in south Africa,residents of Durban are paid for their pee,to encourage them use dry toilets.
At 9.15am it was time for the Top Nine Moments and Supermyd aka Smilington gave happenings around the World,Tosyn Bucknor gave the stock market and weather reports and then Supermyd signed out with a quote and a tip for the day.
At 10.00am,it was time for the Top question and Tosyn asked Listeners to tell her,what kind of friend,they are they online.
There were calls,text messages,tweet mentions and Facebook comments,with Listeners who told Tosyn the kind of friends they are online.skylawdz from Facebook told Tosyn that he is a nice and honest person online and that he had never fought with anyone of his friends online.
Kingsley called in on the show and told Tosyn,that he was a down-to-Earth and straight forward person online and that he found love online.

Thanksgiving Friday

Areaaaaaaa!!!!! The Traffic Report Show started by 6.00am with good and great music and then by 6.30am,Area Mama asked Listeners to give their reports from their Area and then she also asked them to tell her,one thing that they were grateful for during the week plus she asked Listeners to sing their own version of the Area song or just be creative with it.
There were a lot of Comments,calls and text messages,Edoyak called in,gave his reports and he that he was grateful for his week,which has been successful,Princess Dumebi from Ogba gave her reports,that the traffic in her Area was free and that the weather wasn't bad at all and that she was thankful that she would a year older on Sunday,Area Mama congratulated her and wished her a happy birthday.
At 8.00am,Area Mama signed out and then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and then it was time for two songs from one Artiste and it was "Beautiful Monster" and "Mad" both by Ne-yo.
Music was played amidst this segment,later on Tosyn announced to Listeners to send their nominations of the song of the week and by 9.15am it was time for The Top Nine Moments,Supermyd gave happenings in the country and around the world and Tosyn Bucknor gave the stock Market and Weather reports and then Supermyd signed a health tip and a quote which says "When everything is coming your way,you are on the wrong Lane.
After the Top Nine Moments,it was time to choose the song of the week and then Tosyn announced the songs that were nominated,they were "Scapegoat" by D'Banj,"Addicted" by Akay featuring Ice Prince,"Holla at your Boi" by Wizkid and "Be there remix" by Tuface featuring M.I,there were a lot of calls and text messages with Listeners who sent in their votes and "Scapegoat"by D'Banj and "Holla at your Boi" by Wizkid was a tie votes.
There was a slight music break and then Tosyn Bucknor announced that all that was needed was just three votes to choose the song of the week. There were three calls from the listeners,one of the listeners chose Wizkid's "Holla at your Boi" and the other two chose "Scapegoat"D'Banj and then Tosyn Bucknor announced the song of the week,which is D'Banj's "Scapegoat",which was played.
At 10.00am,Tosyn Bucknor gave The Entertainment News and in the news,Avril Lavigne released her new Album which was delayed by her record label for a long time and Angelina Jolie was going to be on the front cover of a magazine which she was going to talk about some of her personal life secrets,her kids and Brad Pitt.
Also Micheal Jackson(R.I.P) though dead was going to release some of his new songs on Monday Nov 15th including his latest hit "Hold my hands" featuring Akon and some other news plus she concluded by saying it had been a good week and you know what CON.tra.diction would be performing at the dome tonight,catch her there live!!!!!.

Heartbreak Thursday

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, the The Area Show started at 6.00am with good music and at 6.30am,Area Mama screamed Areaaaaaaaaaa and asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather reports from their respectively Area and she asked the question,if anyone had been heart broken before and how they felt?.
There were a lot of calls,Text Messages,Tweet mentions and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page on Facebook ,Fola from Iyana Ipaja gave her reports and then she told Area Mama that she had never been Heart-broken before, Kingsley from Sango also gave his reports and said that he was heart-broken when his girlfriend sent him a text message and told him it was over and Slimbaba sent his reports from Facebook,he gave his reports and then told Area Mama that he became heart broken when his girlfriend of a long time relationship cheated on him and that he felt frustrated,there were calls,Text messages,Tweet mentions and other comments came in to console him,even Area Mama consoled him.
And guess who was on the show today...It was Uche (remember her from "The Freshwaves") and she spoke a little about heart-break situations and also gave some advice.Also Bethel lee gave his reports and reported a fatal accident that happened at a certain location in Lagos,the previous day.He also sent a shout out to the Family of a boy who slummed and died,while Playing Football with his Friends.Area Mama thanked him for the reports he gave and said she also sympathized with the Family of the deceased boy.
At 8.05am,Area Mama consoled Listeners who had heartbroken stories and then she signed out,then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was Kaha's "Heart Robber"featuring Tuface and "Solum gamba"which means Follow me.Then it was time for the Proverbs Lane and there were listeners who called in,sent Text messages and other comments came in from social networking websites and they gave different Proverbs in different Languages(English Proverbs not allowed). It was interesting as Uche gave a Proverb in her Language,also Olusola gave a proverb in Igbo Language and he said "Ogwu ye manma bu ye gwu mwadu" which means It's the Friend that knows you that can hurt you,which also can be expressed in different languages like in Yoruba Language "Eni to mo eyan lo ba eyan".Great music was not left out,also commercials was played.
At 9.15am It was The Top Nine Moments and Supermyd gave happenings in the Country and around the World plus,Tosyn gave the Stock Market and the Weather reports and Supermyd signed out as usual she gave a health tip and a quote for the day which says "A friend is someone who understands your past and takes you just the way you are.(Reminds me of Darey's Latest hit "The way you are").
Nice music was played and at 9.45am it was time for the radio drama and this week's episode was "The Big Question?" directed by Wyse,produced by Marqai and Story was written by Ngozi Anyawike,it was very interesting.
By 10.00am,it was time to "SING YOUR STORY",there were calls,text messages,tweet mentions and comments from Area Mama's Fan Page,edoyak from ikorodu called in and told Tosyn that he was grateful to GOD for his good life,so he sang "Thank GOD"by Dagrin featuring Omawunmi, Folashade from sango,said that she got an admission into the university and she sang "Ko maa roll" by Mo'cheddah .There were some others Listeners who had stories to tell and songs to sing .The song of the week was also played as usual.
Music was played amidst this segment,Tosyn Bucknor thanked everyone who participated,from the Area Show to the Proverbs Lane,Top Nine Moments and Sing your story and then she signed out by 10.00am.

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! It was another wonderful day at TopRadio 90.9 and the Traffic Report Show started at 6.00am with good music and by 6.30am,Area Mama asked listeners to give Traffic and Weather reports from their Areaaaaaaaaaa!!! and when any one gave a good report,they would be cheered by the vi pikins. There were Calls,Text messages,Facebook comments and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page,also Tweet mentions came in on the show.
Kingsley from Gbagada gave his reports and requested for "Oleku" by Ice Prince featuring Brymo of course he was cheered by the vi pikins, SlimBaba sent his reports via text message and requested for Mo'cheddah's "If you want me"ft ophello,he was also cheered by the vi pikins.There were also comments from Facebook and Area Mama's Fan Page, Lemar sent in his reports,he was cheered by the vi pikins and he requested for Jason Derulo's "Riding Solo",also Fola from Iyana Ipaja gave her reports and also requested for a nice song the vi pikins clapped for her for her good Traffic and Weather Report.
The songs that were requested for and jamming hit songs were played,then Area Mama signed out by 8.00am but then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was Eminem "No love" Featuring Lil Wayne and "Not Afraid" (wonderful one there Area Mama!).
Tosyn Bucknor Played some nice tunes and she also played commercials,but then DJ GeeQ signed in and he played "Formular"by Hakym The Dream,overdose "Alujo" and many other "Korrect"songs.Then Tosyn Bucknor announced to Listeners,to find out who would be her Guest on the show.
The Turn-Table Samurai,DJ GeeQ spinned the wheels of steels,as he played nice and cool Jams ,this went on till 9.15am when Supermyd a.k.a Smilington(Area Mama gave her that name) signed in and she gave happenings around the globe and Tosyn Bucknor gave the Stock Market Report and Weather report and then Supermyd signed out with as usual a health tip and a quote,Music was played after this segment and then,Tosyn Bucknor played a sweeper that was recorded to say a little about her guest on show.
And her guest for today was, Hakym the dream. Tosyn Bucknor welcomed him in on the show and she asked him some questions like How he coped being a singer,songwriter,producer and an assistant video director on set,he said he copes pretty well but then he understands the different personality and each sacrifices that came with it,and he spoke about "Dey Dere"the remix and that he wanted his fans to enjoy more of the song and that his advice to upcoming acts was that,they should keep doing what they loved doing and look up to someone who had interest in what they do (Hmmm,sounds familiar) and that growing up for him was not easy and he remembered his humble lifestyle and he did a freestyle to back up his story.There were calls,text messages and other comments and Rike,who called from Agbado asked him if he was married and if not,if he was searching and he answered that he wasn't married and that he wasn't searching,some who called in made a few comments,while others,asked random questions.
Music was played,as DJ GeeQ played some interesting songs including Hakym's "Formular "and "Dey Dere remix" and he also played one of Micheal Jackson's hit(that is Hakym's Role Model) and it was time for Tosyn Bucknor to sign out,as she asked Hakym to give his proverbs in another language other than English and this was what he said Eni to lori,o ni Fila,Eni ti ko lori,ko ni fila and according to him it means we all have to be there for each other and lets always try to help each other and he was given fifteen seconds to say anything he wanted to and he used this fifteen seconds to send a shout out to his mum,friends and fans.

The Area challenge.

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! The traffic report show started at 6.00am and Good and nice Music was played,then by 6.30 Area Mama asked Listeners to give traffic and Weather from their Area,plus the challenge was who could use an Alphabet to form a Name,Animal,Place or thing in the fastest time.
Well,there were callers like Fola,who First of all gave her Traffic and Weather report then she chose the number 25,in it was the Alphabet D and her answers were Daniel,Dog,Denmark and Door,so Area Mama recorded the time,she gave her answers, SlimBaba also called in,on the show and gave his report and then he chose the number 6 and then in it was the alphabet E and then He answered Emma,Eagle,England and Egg and then Area Mama recorded his time,he gave his answers,Victor also called in,on the show and complained that he had a sore throat so Area Mama recommended her recipe that will cure it and she told him to grind pepper and gaggle it with Water and she also told him to keep his throat warm that is Area Mama's recipe to cure Sore Throat but then he gave his report and gave his answers he choose the number 15 and the Alphabhet B and he said Betty,Bull,Belgium and Bell and his time was also recorded.
Nice tunes from Weird MC came through as "Jehovah" and "Don't stop"was played and then by 8.00am it was time for Area Mama to sign out but before then she announced that there was only going to be one Winner that is the person who gave his/her answer in the fastest time and the winner was Victor who had the sore throat and then Area Mama announced to him that he should send in his phone number to receive his prize.
Tosyn Bucknor signed in,on Top of the Morning and then it was the Poetry Party and there were a whole lot of Calls,Text messages,Tweet mentions and Comments from facebook and from the Area Mama's Fan Page on Facebook with Listeners who gave their Poems,some gave rhymes,some gave poems from different Authors while others gave their own composed poems.Good music was not left out and there were also commercials.
Later on,it was 9.15am and Supermyd signed in for the Top Nine Moments and she gave happenings in the country and around the world and then Tosyn Bucknor gave the Stock Market and the Weather report. Supermyd signed out,afterward with a health tip and a quote.
By 10.00am Music,both old and new ones including the song of the week were played and some commercials too and by 10.30am it was time for the syndicated Radio show "FLAVA".

The Breakfast show

Areaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! and i thank the Lord,it's Monday again!!.
The traffic Report show began with Banging hits and nice tunes and Area Mama asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather reports from their Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! and she also asked what was the one important thing they did over the weekend,but then Area Mama wished Azaria,a presenter on TopRadio a happy Birthday.
There were a lot of Calls,Text messages,Facebook comments,Tweet mentions and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page on facebook,SlimBaba from Ikorodu called in and he sounded energetic and he told Area Mama about his weekend,that he won three tickets from TopRadio to the Jazz concerts which happened on the 6Th of November,2010 and that his area was cool,gorgeous and outgoing with the "Okada" Riders,who called out to the people that were going out to their different destinations.
Engr.Taiwo Ajayi said his Area was cool and the traffic in his Area was hectic,so Area Mama told him that he was the only one,she would do this for and you know what she did,she asked him what he had for Breakfast and He said Yams and Garden Eggs.(yummy)
There were some other Listeners who gave their traffic and Weather reports,some even expressed how happy they were for a new day by singing,while some others wished Azaria,a happy birthday. The Traffic Report Show ended at 8.00am and Area Mama signed out and along came Tosyn Bucknor,who signed in on the breakfast show and it was time for two songs from one Artiste and it was the son of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti ,Femi kuti's "Truth don die" and "What will tomorrow bring?"(Good music there o).
Good music was played and Tosyn Bucknor gave some sports reports and in the reports Arsenal lose their match to Newcastle 0-1, ManU won Wolverhampton Wanderers with 2-1,Chelsea lose to Liverpool 0-2 and many other Victories and Defeats on the English Premiership League and she also talked about "Diwali"the holiday which is called the festival of light popularly celebrated by the Indians and Hindus,it is celebrated for Five Days.She also said that The Indians and Hindus celebrated "Diwali" because they believed it was the time when good triumphed over evil.
At 9.15 it was time for you know what now,the Top Nine Moments and Supermyd gave interesting happenings in the country and around the World and Tosyn Bucknor gave the stock market and Weather report and then as usual,Supermyd signed out with a health tip as well as a quote and her quote came from George Edward Woodberry which said Defeat is not the worst of failures,but not to have tried is the true failure.
At 10.00am,Tosyn Bucknor Popped the question for the day and she asked that what are three qualities of a Leader and she also asked listeners if they were good leaders and what qualities did they have to show it?. There were a lot of comments and from The Area Mama's Fan Page Skylawdz o'Grinn said that A good Leader must be God fearing,honest and Truthful and that he is unpredictable and he is a good leader 100%.,Olawale also said a good leader must be God fearing,trustworthy and kind and he said that these are the qualities that he possesses and that makes him a good leader and Someone called in and said a good leader must be smart ,have a goal and have character and he said is very independent person which makes him a good leader.There were other calls,Text messages,Tweet mentions that came in to give their own qualities of a good Leader and what made them good Leaders and by 11:00am,Tosyn Bucknor signed out but before then she thought there were three outstanding qualities of a good Leader and then she announced them .Then the song of the week was played which is "Oleku" by Ice Prinec featuring Brymo.

Thank GOD it's Friday

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,It's Friday and (Thank GOD it's Friday),The Traffic Report Show kicked off at 6.00am with great jams and Area Mama came on at 6.30am and she asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather Reports in their Areaaaaaaaaa!!!!she also asked them to tell her one thing they were thankful for during the week and she asked listeners to also sing their own version of the Areaaaaaaaaa song.
So Calls,text messages,facebook comments and Tweet mentions came in,most of the Listeners sang their own version of the Areaaaaaaaa song which was interesting and Some were thankful for the successful week,others were thankful for a bonus or a gift they received.Area Mama played nice music and commercial amidst this segment.
At 8.00am,it was time for Area Mama to sign out and Tosyn Bucknor signed in but then it was two songs from one Artiste and it was Essence's "Kalangolo" and "Facebook Love".
At 9.15am Supermyd signed in for the Top Nine Moments and she gave happenings around the World.Later on,Tosyn gave the Stock Market Reports and also the Weather Reports.Supermyd gave a quote and a health tip before she signed out and then Tosyn announced that it was to vote for the song of the week,there were lots of votes for the song of the week and here are the details of how it went,

At 10.00am and then it was time for the Entertainment news and in the News,Martin Sheen plays Peter Parker's Uncle in the new Sequel of your Friendly Neighbourhood "SpiderMan",also there were a lot of Winners at the Channel O Music Video Awards,D'Banj's Video "Fall in love" won The Best Afro Pop Video of the year,P-Square's Video "E no Easy" won the Best Group and Featured Video of the year and Tuface's Video"Implication" was the Best Gifted Video of the year,there were also other Winners and Will Smith is back in the Movie "Men in Black3"and there were also other Acts in the Movie,including Nicole Scherzinger from the music group,PussyCatDolls,which she played a Villain.
Then at 10.58am,it was time for Tosyn Bucknor to sign out and she thanked the Listeners and wished them a wonderful Weekend ahead but then there were Tickets to be won on the Area Mama's Fan Page on facebook.To win prizes and other goodies join the fan page.

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! It's was a happy Thursday and Area Mama asked listeners to give the Traffic Reports and Weather Reports in their Areaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! and she also asked them to say "Good Morning " in three languages.
(OK...Ekaro!(Yoruba Language),ekgwo!(Urhobo Language)and ....Nakwana!(Hausa Language),well there were a lot of Calls,Text messages,Facebook comments and Tweet mentions and there were a lot of Listeners who gave their own reports.
Ronke from Ibafo said the Traffic from Ibafo to Berger was free and she said "Ekaro" is the way she says "Good Morning" in her Language.
Engr Taiwo called in and he said the Traffic in his Area wasn't too bad and that it was free and he was happy,he also said "Good Morning" in Three Languages,He said "Ekaro","Nakwana" and "Ibo lashi(Igbo Language)" Now that was interesting. Some called in and gave their reportswhile,while others sent in text messages,Facebook comments and Tweet mentions to give their reports in a nice way.Music and Commercials was also played amidst this Segment.
The Traffic Report Show wrapped up at 8.00am,Area Mama signed out and Tosyn Bucknor signed in,but then it was time for two songs from one Artiste and it was D'Banj's "Scape Goat" and "Mo gbona Feli feli".
The next segment was the proverbs Lane and nice music was played and there were proverbs from different listeners like this one "igi mu ji na sori" which means the mouth is far from the head from a caller,there were also other proverbs.
Next on,was Top Nine Moments and Supermyd gave happenings around the globe,then Tosyn gave the stock market reports and the Weather reports.Supermyd signed out with a quote and a health tip.
Music and Commercials played before the Radio Drama,which plays every Thursday at 9.45am,with Wyse as the Producer and the some of the Interns at TopRadio as the cast in the Drama,which was very interesting and educating,plus it was Entertaining.
At 10.00am,it was time for sing your story(I love this segment),lots of calls came in,There were text messages,facebook comments and Tweet mentions with people who sang their stories.
Someone called in and said he was very happy and he sang "Happy Day" by Weird MC, Debbie from ikorodu said that she was grateful for the mercies of GOD on her and She sang "Thank GOD" by Dagrin (R.I.P) featuring Omawunmi,There were stories from facebook comments and Tweet mentions and Area Mama's Fan Page,music was also played.
At 11.00am,Tosyn Bucknor Thanked everyone that listened to the show and those who also participated.

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!(and i can imagine the vi pikins clapping for me)yaaaay,well on the Traffic Report Show today,Area Mama asked listeners to give their reports and request for any song they would like to listen to but then who ever gave their traffic and weather reports well ,the vi pikins would clap for him or her.
There were a lot of calls,text messages,facebook comments and tweet mentions.Callito gave his reports with a swag and got cheered by the vi pikins,
Ann from yaba gave her reports in a very interesting way and indeed also got cheered by the vi pkins. Some callers forgot to say Areaaaaaaaaaaaa before giving their reports,while others could not give their reports well (i guess the vi pikins did not like the way they gave their reports)LOL.
The songs that some of the listeners requested for was played,also commercials amidst the show the Traffic Report ended as Area Mama signed out with the Area song which was played at 8.00am after that was the two songs from one Artiste and it was Psalmos "Lomo Yen" and "O Dara" and "He Good" were played.
Tosyn Bucknor signed in on Top of the Morning and guess who was in the studio and on the Wheels of Steel!!!! The Turn-Table Samurai,DJ Don GeeQ and it was dance time,how i wish you were in the studio to see how Area Mama danced and DJ GeeQ played hit songs like Mo’cheddah’s Ko ma roll,Lynxx “Good Luving” and many other great songs.
The Top Nine Moments Began at 9.15am and your Friendly Superhero,Supermyd gave happenings in the country and around. From News in the country to foreign news,then Health and Technology news,Entertainment news and then sports news.As usual Tosyn Bucknor gave the Stock Market Report and the weather reports,then Supermyd signed out with a quote from Henry David Thoreau which says Be true to your words and your friends and she also gave a health tip,she said that Apple fruits helps food maintain their moisture levels and that makes food fresher and edible for longer periods.
She said for instance if you want to keep cakes fresh,cut an apple in half and place the cut apple on top of the cake.
DJ Don GeeQ played some good music and guess who was Area Mama’s guest today..It was Lynxx who’s real name is Chukie Edozien*utunu*,the c.e.o of Syndik8 Records plus he looked fly with his shades on.
Area Mama welcomed him on the show and asked him why he called his music “Jollof Music” and he said his kind of music puts people in a good mood,He said at 6pm he spends most of his time in the studio recording a song and at 6am he goes to sleep till around 10am,when he starts his day.He advised people who were starting up their own record label or those who wanted to start their career in music to be patient and that it takes hard work to achieve success.When Tosyn asked him what *utunu*means he said to find,one has to read his "Lynxxionary".
Calls,text messages,facebook comments,tweet mentions and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page on Facebook came in, to ask him questions or had something to say to him,Some one asked him about upcoming artistes who actually got songs but have got no money to record a demo,Lynxx replied and said that the person should save up or look for someone who would take interest in what the Artiste does.
Then Tosyn Bucknor asked him to give a proverb in any language other than English and this was what he said “Eni ko se ise o ma ja le” and according to him it means that If a person does not work hard, he will steal.He was also given fifteen seconds to say anything!!! Now that was an opportunity for him and You know what he did, he paused for fifteen seconds and at the end of the fifteen seconds he said that was fifteen seconds silence for P.H.C.N in Nigeria and by then it was time for Tosyn to sign out from the show but then Good Music was not left out!!!!!.

The challenge and Poetry Party

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and how are you doing this Tuesday morning?. The traffic report show started 6.00am with music and commercials ,Area mama did a challenge today,she asked listeners to give traffic reports and weather reports from their respective areaaaaa....... while coughing and my area is*cough*my*are*cough*aaaa*cough*ah*cough*breathe heavily*cough*is *coo*cough*ool ..well i think i did it well but there were a lot of calls,text messages,facebook comments and tweet mentions ,Ann from yaba called in and she was outstanding ,Fola from iyana ipaja called in,i thought she was going to pass out when she coughed and gave her reports and what about Kingsley from sango?,he was breathing heavily and coughing at same time when he gave his own reports and some other interesting and outstanding callers who gave their reports while they coughed and good music was not left out with commercials. At the end of the show there were four winners Fola from iyana ipaja ,callito,Kingsley from sango and Ann from Yaba,congratulations!!!!! .
Area Mama signed out at 8.00am,along came Tosyn Bucknor on Top of the morning and it was time for two songs from one artiste but instead of two songs,four songs were played,that was because it came from the plantashun boiz and one of their songs as a group ”just can’t get you off my mind”was played after that Blackface “Ahead of the game”was played ,Faze’s “Originality” and then Tuface’s “Be there”.Those songs were great,nice one there,Area Mama!!!!!.
Later on the show,it was the poetry party where you get to send or read your poems and there were calls,text messages and other comments too that came in ,and there were a lot of poems,i really liked the poem that was titled “The Firewood” by seyi from ikorodu.Music and commercials was also played amidst this segment.
At 9.15am on the Top Nine Moments and Supermyd gave happenings in the country and around the globe,which was really interesting and informative,which Tosyn gave the Stock Market Reports and the Weather Reports before Supermyd signed out and she gave a healthy tip on bubble gums ,that there are some healthy bubble gums that protects the teeth....
Commercials,Music and the song of the which was Nikky Minaj"Your Love"were played,then 10.30am, tosyn bucknor signed out and flava came on next...During flava,They talked about break-ups in relationships.

Come and see types of Insomnia ....November 1st,2010

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! that is the way Area Mama says good morning,and i want to wish you all a happy new month.
The show kicked off at 6.00am with good music and after an eleven day vacation,Area Mama is fully back.
The traffic report show which is always the first segment on the show started fully by 6.30am, so Area Mama asked listeners to give reports on the traffic and weather from their Areaaaaaaaaaa!!!plus she also asked them about what was the most important thing that happened during their weekend?.For me,during the weekend i went for a naming ceremony and i didn't forget the item seven.
Well,Chickito from ikorordu,was the first caller for the day and you know what,for that,she won a recharge card!!!!she also gave her reports from ikorodu and she told Area Mama that she and her family visited an old family friend during the weekend and that the traffic and weather in her area was cool calm and collected.
Engr.Taiwo, from ikorodu also called in the show and gave reports from his area,he said that he relaxed at home on Saturday and on Sunday,he went to church for thanksgiving for the upcoming month. There were also other interesting callers,wonderful text messages,facebook comments and tweet mentions amidst Good Music also Commercials.The traffic report show ended at 8.02am and Area mama signed out.
Along came,Tosyn Bucknor on the Breakfast show on Top of the Morning,but then it was time for two songs from one Artiste and it was O.D also known as Over Dose with songs from his new album 'H.O.D',"gotta love you" and "Alujo".(I thought, O.D was lyrically smoking on these tracks).
Tosyn Bucknor talked about the premiership league about what club won and how some clubs lost to their opponents,she also talked about a song that lasted for 1.3.6 seconds!!! by an artiste and that had earned him a spot in the Guinness book of world record for the shortest song ever recorded!!! and she gave news on how Alcohol was more dangerous than Marijuana.(I actually thought it was the other way round)These news came along with music and commercials.
Great Music and Commercials played till 9.15 and it was time for the Top Nine Moments with Supermyd and she gave happenings around the globe,Tosyn gave the stock Market and the Weather Reports.Then Supermyd signed out with a quote from Gian Carlo Menatto which says A wise man calculates his amount of ignorance.
At 10.00am,Tosyn popped the Top question for the day and she asked listeners if they had ever been a victim of insomnia and how they solved it when they found themselves in such situation,well calls from different locations,text messages,facebook comments and tweet mentions came in and Kingsley from sango said he had to dance to disco music until he got tired,Fola from iyana ipaja said she listened to slow music,which helped her.The song of the week was played which was Nikky Minaj's"Your Love"
Tosyn Bucknor talked about the types of insomnia which are the primary,co-morbid,transient,short-term and chronic types of insomnia she also gave some tips on how to solve insomnia like push-ups exercises,watch boring movies and some other tips,she played lots of great songs and commercials,Tosyn bucknor signed out at 10.58am.

7th April

Hey people, welcome to your virtual "catch up on Top of the morning with Tosyn Bucknor if you missed the show" Package! (lol I know that was a mouthful) So how are you today? hope all's well....... Here is everything that occurred on the show today... if you missed it. On the Area show today our ardent listeners called in with information about their neighbourhood and in exchange they got to request for any song of their choice to be played.

After which we asked you two simple questions about Coca-Cola which are: what is the slogan/pay off line for the Coca-Cola advert on football? and do you know at least three countries out of the seven countries that have won the world cup so far? We had two lucky winners who once again claimed our tickets to The Coca-Cola party taking place on Saturday at Ocean View restaurant.

Right after that, DJ GQ dished out great music for everyone to get down and shake their bodies and then our guest arrived!! Yes! Just as we do every Wednesday, we had a guest artiste in person of the one and only cross over king ALARIWO OF AFRICA!!!!!!! Everyone was excited to have him around and questions like where have you been? What does Alariwo mean? What have you been up to? And many others were crashing our phone lines and face book pages!

Typically, our down to earth Alariwo patiently answered all the questions and shared with us what his real personality is like... it was fun having him around plus we played his songs for the listening pleasure of all and sundry... finally the show came to an end but not without Alariwo giving us a proverb in his language (He happens to be from Delta state). Make it a date with Tosyn Bucknor on the show tomorrow morning....in the mean time i would like to sign out now.......yes please, thank you...lol

Top of the morning to you folks and it is with great pleasure i welcome you to the Top of the morning show (Well, the catch up segment.lol) on the hot dail 90.9! Yup! its good to have you read this; i hope you were a part of todays shows..if you weren't.....duh? what were you doing? well, my kind nature will always previal on the sacastic side of me (lol) so all the juicy tit bits that you missed from the show will be brought to you by my humble self...yeah, yeah you are welcome.



AAAAAARRRRRRRREEEEEEEAAAAA!!!!! sounds familiar doesn't it? yup! it sure does, because that's what starts the show every day. Usually we had a whole lot of contributions via sms, facebook and phone calls; people telling us about their Area..weather and traffic reports. The contributors had the chance to request for a songs of their choice to be played for them which we obliged...aren't we sweet at Top radio? lol



We then took you down memery lane; dishing out old songs that rocked the nineties and early two thousand. We know you felt nostalgic....but then thats the whole idea of today's show. Next we had the Top nine moments powered by Supermide! and ooooo she had a lot to tell us from sports entertainment and other randoms. I would say that Top nine moments is a delightful package of infotainment....belive me!



Tosyn then brought you the Stock market and weather report for the day which paved way for all our ardent listeners to sing their story! and sing they did! with all sorts of "Angelic voices" (lol, there i go again puting those two words in qoute...wink!) we then had a little talk on the Super Eagle's official drink Cocacola. We asked series of questions because we wnted to give out tickets to THE PARTY! and we found a lucky winner in wallintong; congratulations to him.



SLK's Darling our song of the week hit the air waves right after that and then we played you some more old school music....great ones, then (sadly...sob) the show had to come to an end. But the good thi9ng is (Like Banky W would say)....tomorrow, we will do it all over again! cheers!

RISE AND SHINE..........IT'S MONDAY!

Wake up joo! have you forgotten its the beginning of another beautiful week? lol. I know you want snuggle deeper under covers and i al;so know you hate Mondays but i know a little secrete that would spice and brighten up your Monday morning...... TOP OF THE MORNING WITH TOSIN BUCKNOR!

Well if you missed today's show that's your loss! i sound sarcastic abi? OK OK, ill give you a down load of the juicy segments that you missed. Typically the show kicked off with Arrrrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! lots of people had a lot to say about their area/neighborhood giving us weather and traffic reports from their area..........of course not without the password AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Right after that came the "You Say" segment and usually, the people wanted to say what was on their minds and they did! I say- Lagos carnival rocked! what do you say? you have the opportunity to say what6 ever it sis that you feel like on the programme tomorrow so, make sure you are a part of it!

The Coca cola company, official soft drink of the super Eagles, was generous enough to give us tickets to their big bash taking place at the ocean view restaurant, and we were in turn, generous enough to give them to you......our ardent listeners....so that's what came up next after you say! We asked you to call us and mention at least three countries out of the seven that have won the world cup over the years in exchange for our ticket and guess what? our first caller was the lucky winner..........i hear there is gonna be a performance by M.I Banky W, Eldee and other notable DJs...congratulations to our winner.

Next up came the Top nine moments with Supermide, giving us juicy gists on sports, Whitney's illness......... and so much more. Tosyn then gave you the weather report straight from our weather man giving way for our song of the week SLKs Darling.....pretty nice song if you ask me. The show ended thirty minutes earlier than usual signing out with Sound Sultan's 2010 this was to give way to the thirty minutes flava show which comes up every Monday,,,,,,,,,,phew, i hope i covered all areas of the show for you, its really not an easy task considering the fact that my fingers feel like carrot sticks now, due to too much typing lol But you know i will always go the extra mile to bring you what you missed on Top of the morning show with Tosyn...have a swell day and don't forget to stay on Top!

APRIL WISE!

Thursday 1st of April.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRea! (I hope you didn't just read that normally! i hope you screamed it for all your life is worth!) Lol. yes oh! I'm back again today. Why did you miss Top of the morning show today eh? because I'm sure you won't be reading this if you were a part of it! Anyway, that's why I'm here, to help you catch up. Today on the area show, we gave you information from different parts of Lagos and even the country with the help of our dear ardent listeners. contributions were pouring in from the phone lines, through sms's and from face book, of course not without the password AAAARRRRRRRRea!!!

we then had the Proverbs segment where listeners got to say proverbs in their mother tongue, translate it and then apply it to reality. We had a lot of contributions consisting of proverbs in different languages; Yoruba, Edo, Ijebu e.t.c and it was indeed very educative as we learnt a lot from those wise words. Next we had the song of the week Mary.J.Blige's Each tear, telling us each tear we shed makes us stronger.

The Sing your story segment came right after the Proverbs and oh......you need to have heard "Angelic voices" telling their stories in different songs! (Do not wonder why those two words are in quotes) lol. We had a great time. Supermide breezed in to give you the Top nine moments and boy, was it juicy; with sports, entertainment and other randoms. Tosyn then gave the weather report and she told us a Little about how April fools day came into existence.

Well, it was said that the first of April used to be the day new year was marked but when it was changed to the first of January, some people either due to ignorance or stubbornness still thought new years day was on the fist of April and so other people used to make fun of them and play tricks on them till it became so popular and hence, APRIL FOOL'S DAY!! But the wise people are always on TOP! And so my fellow wise men, it's a wrap make sure you do not Miss the show tomorrow!........if you are going to fool anybody today i suggest you keep it moderate and know were to draw the line OK? cheers......... When we envisage what a wonderful day is going to be like, I'm sure most of us picture waking up at the "right side" of the bed to the sun warmly shinning in......and we are like "wow do i smell eggs and toast for breakfast?". And then for the rest of the day, we come across no stress, hassles or anything to upset us and we can conclude it s wonderful day.well, today wasn't like that! First, the show kicked off late because of power issues; our two generator sets tried to revolt by giving us quick notice at the same time! can you imagine that? well the end result of that is that, Top radio had to go off air for a while (Sob)!

But guess what? we came right back! (I guess this is the part were i get to sing my story and and I'm singing Danny Young's "oju ti tiwon" for the enemies/haters who didn't want us on air). So we couldn't interview our guest for the day and we couldn't take too many calls but we sure gave it our best shot and we had fun! Playing good music, reading your messages on phone and face book.

We had a full house too. some students under media production training came to pay us a visit on the Top of the morning show. They spiced up the show with their happy laughter and excitement and I'm sure our listeners were happy to have them on the show. Everything went normally according to our daily pattern.......Area, You say, song of the week, Top nine moments, The weather report......... the only difference is that we had a shorter time frame than usual but hey we cant say our Wednesday wasn't wonderful because of that! It was wonderful and we happily look forward to more wonderful days ahead! cheers.

Top of the morning to you top listerners of Top Radio! (Im seriously rhyming i really should consider rapping as a carreer)lol. Sob...sniff, i'm so sad 4 ya'll who didn't listen up today because you missed out of the fun! Typically, the show kicked of with AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRREA!! yup! Area mama woke ya'll up this morning shouting just that one word; vibrating your houses! lol. It was a fun, exciting and informative segment as we brought you traffic reports from as many parts of Lagos as possible and reminded you of how "imporrant" it is to THANK THE LORD!

Next on Top was YOU SAY! Where listeners were given a chance to say anything they wanted to vai calls, sms, facebook, twitter etcetera. It was like graffitti on radio! say what ever you wanna and you can be sure the response to that was massive! Then, the only super hero in Nigeria; "SUPERMIDE" flew in, to deliver the TOP NINE MOMENTS! it was a sweet mixture of sports, entertainment and other randoms...yummy.lol. The Weather report was brought to you by Yours faithfuly, Tosyn Bucknor and then....(Ma favourite part) the song of the week was played: Mary.J.Blige's Every tear. A very beautiful song that tells you that every tear you have shed makes you a stronger person.

The topic of disscussion for today revolved around just one word: PURPOSE. Have you discovered your porpose in life? if yes, what is your purpose and how did you discover it? We had several responses to this but the general idea gathered from the contributions we had is that God reavels people's purposes to them and being alive without one is like a waste! there was a quere contribution.......that one had to wait to be 25yrs old before one can have a purpose in life! lol. To back it up, songs like "ise orin lori ran mi" and "party hard" where played; well you never can tell what peopl's purposes in life are can you?..we were only giving them ideas! lol.

Believe me, we had fun! The show came to an end (sadly....snif) on a spendid note with Tosyn thanking every one for listening and imploring yall to join her same time tommorrow (I would heed to that if i were you!). Did you missed the areaaaaaaaaaaa show was the bomb if you missed it then this is what went down.........

As you already know without being told that wednesdays are usually days to look out for because they simply stand out.Lets do this for starters or people that are not familiar with the show,its AREA AREA AREA AREA!!!!!! Yeah!thats our early morning anthem like 'ARISE O COMPATRIOTS',you all know what you do on wednesdays now no need to tell again.....ok i will tell,its request wednesday when our esteemed callers dont only give us the traffic reports of their areas but are opportuned to hear any song of their choice that is you give us the traffic and weather report of your area and we in return give you your choice song.
We can never forget our top nine(9)moments with supermide.This is a mment when we are put through the top nine(9)newsaing the headlines and if memory serves me right i thing the major topic of discussion was the return of our President.to be frank i dont know maybe i should conclude or still hang on to it as a rumour but whatever they said he's back.
It was also a day when we had guests in the studio and without being told i can bet you all want to know who graced the day,SAMKLEF and BRACE ever heard of them?SAMKLEF is the man behind HE DON BETTER ever heard that song?if you say know,then you are on a long thing and if you have,you are a strong thing.They took us through their journey so far in the industry and we got to find out that Samklef wasnt only a musician but a producer,he actually produced our song of the week by VECTOR and track titled KILODE.BRACE on the other hand falls into the language speaking artiste and i know you will be saying'we have too many of them already'but i have a speech like MLK junior had a dream and my speech says........LOOK OUT FOR THIS GUYS,they are simply hot.

Fun Fearless Proposal(?) Friday!!!

TOP OF THE MORNING ON TOP RADIO 90.9(19-02-2010).
The weekend is here again & of course the Friday edition of top of the morning starts off with the usual AREA Show where listeners call in & send text messages informing other listeners of the traffic situation in their AREA & also giving us weather report of their AREA. It was fun as usual with soothing music & there were a whole lot of responses from different locations in Lagos & environs. Then the Area show paved way 4 another segment which was a mixture of a week review & the shout out segment where callers have to call in & shout out for real, text messages were not left out but they had to be creative to be read out, believe me callers were really shouting out to friends, family members & off course loved ones which was really fun.
And now for the part I enjoy the most on the show on Fridays is always the entertainment segment where we get to know what’s happening in the entertainment scene both home & abroad & we had a guest in the studio to help out with the entertainment gist unknowing to her that she was in for a big surprise.The surprise popped up when a random call came into the studio & it was a guy proposing to his girl friend who happened to be in the studio & he popped the question (will you marry me? ),then he walked into the studio still making the call,then his girl friend flipped out in amazement & in great shock at what her boyfriend just did & the whole station was in awe of what just happened with congratulatory messages coming from everybody around.
The show had to go on after the surprise package with the entertainment segment and Beyonce’s father was in the news; the latest gist about him being that he now has to pay child support for the child he fathered with another lady while still married to Beyonce’s mum. Ha!
Lady Gaga was also mentioned as being the big winner at the Brits Awards which held on Tuesday! She won three awards, including International Female Act. The Brits is in its thirtieth season and Oasis was honoured- Best Album in thirty ywars. Apparently, the Spice Girls won Best Peformance in thirty years!
And congratulations to KEL!
Now only will she look good fashion wise, but also cos of her hair!
Yes o, KEL and GBEMI OLATERU-OLAGBEGI were recently unveiled as Brand Ambassadors for Soul Touch Hair products!

It was an interesting day

first day of the week

Its the first working day of the week and of course you are waiting for me to make my early morning shout..........yes AREA AREA AREA AREA AREA AREA AREA ..are you tired of reading it?dont be because i have ust started.ok valentine has come and gone and i hope you all had the best of it?before i go further i will like to once again congratulate Mr and Mrs Ademola,rumours got to us that you had a swell time up at kingsize yesterday anyway that was the idea to make sure you had the closest to the best of days and it was also interesting to know or find out that you made it up with your husband..so in the spirit of valentine still in the mood of love todays top of the morning came as a filled pack and i believe you have an idea of what i am talking about.so it started the way it normally does with our callers giving us the traffic report from their various places and telling us how they spent their vals.i am going to start up by telling you how i spent mine..........had plans of hanging out with my ex we had everything planned and here i am looking all dressed up to make it a good date and i sat all day long waiting vfor her to show up but she never did.
dont you even try feel sorry for me cos it will make no difference.you wont believe the distance i had to cover on foot to make it to the studio,but in all I THANK THE LORD.tosyn came upp with this question ;which is better to have loved and lost or not to love at all?are you seeking my opinion on that?dont worry readers once beaten always shy.top of the nine(9)moments by supermide and we had uche and OJ in the studio giving us their support.basically today ws like every other day in the studio from AREA to top nine(9) moments and the call in segment,it ws just a fun filled time out.you know what they say that when you having an interesting time outTIME FLIES.look nfoward to having a better time out tomorrow and like i always say if you missed out of todays top of the morning,you will forever remain on a long thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yours truly OBENDE SEGUN

did today rock?

Did today rock? i am having to start with this question because i dont know if it did.was a little down this morning with a headache so i really couldnt be up and doing,but as usual top of the morning rocks all the time thats because it starts with AREA and others follow.What was the highlight of today?ok i will tell you,how many of you remember DR LEE's chinese interpretation of AREA?dont tell me you missed out of that toooo because i truly will not forgive you.
Anyway we had our traffic report from our truluy dedicated callers who helped us with the traffic report of where evere they were and SUPERMIDE gave us the top nine(9) moments,at least we now know the acting president of the country Goodluck Jonathan has kicked against the congratulatory messages he has been getting from the media on his conferement as acting president and in the same vane stopped people from paying him visits in Abuja.thanks to Supermide I wouldnt have known.there was the launch of a new programme today VALENTINE FLAVA with Matilda and Okechukwu and as a result saw to the early closing of the top o the morning crew.we were also entertained with some sports news by tosyn.i am looking foward to tomorrow because we definitly will be having a guest up in the studio with us and who he/she is................i truthfully do not know but know this that i am equally excited and anxious to know who this person will be.while i take my leave from the studio i want to wish Manchester United good luck in their clash against Ac Milan later today.....with these few words i hope i have been able to carry you along.any quote for the day?nope SUPERMIDE has already done that.
