Heartbreak Thursday

Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, the The Area Show started at 6.00am with good music and at 6.30am,Area Mama screamed Areaaaaaaaaaa and asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather reports from their respectively Area and she asked the question,if anyone had been heart broken before and how they felt?.
There were a lot of calls,Text Messages,Tweet mentions and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page on Facebook ,Fola from Iyana Ipaja gave her reports and then she told Area Mama that she had never been Heart-broken before, Kingsley from Sango also gave his reports and said that he was heart-broken when his girlfriend sent him a text message and told him it was over and Slimbaba sent his reports from Facebook,he gave his reports and then told Area Mama that he became heart broken when his girlfriend of a long time relationship cheated on him and that he felt frustrated,there were calls,Text messages,Tweet mentions and other comments came in to console him,even Area Mama consoled him.
And guess who was on the show today...It was Uche (remember her from "The Freshwaves") and she spoke a little about heart-break situations and also gave some advice.Also Bethel lee gave his reports and reported a fatal accident that happened at a certain location in Lagos,the previous day.He also sent a shout out to the Family of a boy who slummed and died,while Playing Football with his Friends.Area Mama thanked him for the reports he gave and said she also sympathized with the Family of the deceased boy.
At 8.05am,Area Mama consoled Listeners who had heartbroken stories and then she signed out,then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was Kaha's "Heart Robber"featuring Tuface and "Solum gamba"which means Follow me.Then it was time for the Proverbs Lane and there were listeners who called in,sent Text messages and other comments came in from social networking websites and they gave different Proverbs in different Languages(English Proverbs not allowed). It was interesting as Uche gave a Proverb in her Language,also Olusola gave a proverb in Igbo Language and he said "Ogwu ye manma bu ye gwu mwadu" which means It's the Friend that knows you that can hurt you,which also can be expressed in different languages like in Yoruba Language "Eni to mo eyan lo ba eyan".Great music was not left out,also commercials was played.
At 9.15am It was The Top Nine Moments and Supermyd gave happenings in the Country and around the World plus,Tosyn gave the Stock Market and the Weather reports and Supermyd signed out as usual she gave a health tip and a quote for the day which says "A friend is someone who understands your past and takes you just the way you are.(Reminds me of Darey's Latest hit "The way you are").
Nice music was played and at 9.45am it was time for the radio drama and this week's episode was "The Big Question?" directed by Wyse,produced by Marqai and Story was written by Ngozi Anyawike,it was very interesting.
By 10.00am,it was time to "SING YOUR STORY",there were calls,text messages,tweet mentions and comments from Area Mama's Fan Page,edoyak from ikorodu called in and told Tosyn that he was grateful to GOD for his good life,so he sang "Thank GOD"by Dagrin featuring Omawunmi, Folashade from sango,said that she got an admission into the university and she sang "Ko maa roll" by Mo'cheddah .There were some others Listeners who had stories to tell and songs to sing .The song of the week was also played as usual.
Music was played amidst this segment,Tosyn Bucknor thanked everyone who participated,from the Area Show to the Proverbs Lane,Top Nine Moments and Sing your story and then she signed out by 10.00am.
