Areaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! It was another wonderful day at TopRadio 90.9 and the Traffic Report Show started at 6.00am with good music and by 6.30am,Area Mama asked listeners to give Traffic and Weather reports from their Areaaaaaaaaaa!!! and when any one gave a good report,they would be cheered by the vi pikins. There were Calls,Text messages,Facebook comments and comments from the Area Mama's Fan Page,also Tweet mentions came in on the show.
Kingsley from Gbagada gave his reports and requested for "Oleku" by Ice Prince featuring Brymo of course he was cheered by the vi pikins, SlimBaba sent his reports via text message and requested for Mo'cheddah's "If you want me"ft ophello,he was also cheered by the vi pikins.There were also comments from Facebook and Area Mama's Fan Page, Lemar sent in his reports,he was cheered by the vi pikins and he requested for Jason Derulo's "Riding Solo",also Fola from Iyana Ipaja gave her reports and also requested for a nice song the vi pikins clapped for her for her good Traffic and Weather Report.
The songs that were requested for and jamming hit songs were played,then Area Mama signed out by 8.00am but then Tosyn Bucknor signed in and two songs from one Artiste was played and it was Eminem "No love" Featuring Lil Wayne and "Not Afraid" (wonderful one there Area Mama!).
Tosyn Bucknor Played some nice tunes and she also played commercials,but then DJ GeeQ signed in and he played "Formular"by Hakym The Dream,overdose "Alujo" and many other "Korrect"songs.Then Tosyn Bucknor announced to Listeners,to find out who would be her Guest on the show.
The Turn-Table Samurai,DJ GeeQ spinned the wheels of steels,as he played nice and cool Jams ,this went on till 9.15am when Supermyd a.k.a Smilington(Area Mama gave her that name) signed in and she gave happenings around the globe and Tosyn Bucknor gave the Stock Market Report and Weather report and then Supermyd signed out with as usual a health tip and a quote,Music was played after this segment and then,Tosyn Bucknor played a sweeper that was recorded to say a little about her guest on show.
And her guest for today was, Hakym the dream. Tosyn Bucknor welcomed him in on the show and she asked him some questions like How he coped being a singer,songwriter,producer and an assistant video director on set,he said he copes pretty well but then he understands the different personality and each sacrifices that came with it,and he spoke about "Dey Dere"the remix and that he wanted his fans to enjoy more of the song and that his advice to upcoming acts was that,they should keep doing what they loved doing and look up to someone who had interest in what they do (Hmmm,sounds familiar) and that growing up for him was not easy and he remembered his humble lifestyle and he did a freestyle to back up his story.There were calls,text messages and other comments and Rike,who called from Agbado asked him if he was married and if not,if he was searching and he answered that he wasn't married and that he wasn't searching,some who called in made a few comments,while others,asked random questions.
Music was played,as DJ GeeQ played some interesting songs including Hakym's "Formular "and "Dey Dere remix" and he also played one of Micheal Jackson's hit(that is Hakym's Role Model) and it was time for Tosyn Bucknor to sign out,as she asked Hakym to give his proverbs in another language other than English and this was what he said Eni to lori,o ni Fila,Eni ti ko lori,ko ni fila and according to him it means we all have to be there for each other and lets always try to help each other and he was given fifteen seconds to say anything he wanted to and he used this fifteen seconds to send a shout out to his mum,friends and fans.
