Areaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!The Area Show began at 6.00am with great music,both old and new songs was played and then by 6.30am,Area Mama asked Listeners to give Traffic and Weather report from their respective Areas and then they should tell her,one thing they would like to "Thank the Lord" for.
There were a lot of listeners who gave their reports and then told Area Mama things they were thankful for plus you know what, today was "Edoyak's",one of the Listeners of the show,birthday and Area Mama sent him Birthday wishes.
Ogunremu Ayodeji sent his comment on Area Mama's Fan Page,he said Areaaaa..morning Area Mama..From Ikeja to Maryland is "catch me if you can" and the Weather is Area Mama je ka se unda G" he also wished "Edoyak" a happy Birthday.
Oladimeji also sent his comment and he said "Areaaaa,am still on my bed and i just wannt to thank GOD for my life and my friends all over the world and he also said his Area was cool and outgoing.There were a couple of Edoyak's Friends who sent him Birthday wishes.
Music and Commercials was played and then by 8.00am,Area Mama signed out and then Tosyn Bucknor signed in.Two songs from one Artiste was played and the featured Artiste today was Kanye West "Through the wire" and "Power" and More music was played for Listeners. Tosyn later announced that to nominate songs for the song of the week,they should send their preferred songs via text messages.commercials was played afterwards.
At 9.15am,Supermyd signed in for The Top Nine Moments and gave happenings around the World,alongside Tosyn Bucknor who gave some comments on some of the Moments and also the Stock Market and Weather reports.Supermyd signed out with a quote and then a tip and this was her tip for the day: Supermyd's tip for the day:A smile can go a long way.When you are walking down the street, driving,or just at the store, don't hesitate to give a stranger,a simple smile or say hello.Because it can turn a bad day around to be a good one.(What do you think,Guys?)
Later on,Tosyn Bucknor opened the phone lines and then screamed "Let the votes begin,there were a lot of votes and guess what song is the song of the week...It was "Holla at your Boy" by Wizkid,who eventually was beaten by two votes last week by D'Banj's "Scape Goat" which was played the last time.(A lesson to learn there).
